Knox is funny, goofy, silly, ridiculously loving, and just plain wonderful. Really……..He’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh, melts your heart, and leaves you wondering how you got so lucky to know him. And after everything this boy has been through, that joyful and just plain happy spirit is something pretty special.
Knox came to us with a broken pelvis and a broken front leg. He had just one healthy leg carrying the weight of his entire body. What followed was a period of time that had surgeries, lots of r&r, vet visits for re-checks and LOTS of love from his wonderful foster family.
Today, Knox has been given the all-clear by our veterinary team, and he’s ready to find the family he’s waited so long for.
Will his front leg always be a little twisted? Yes. Will he have a goofy gait? Absolutely. Is he going to be a runner marathon training partner? Nope. None of that slows him down, dims his personality, or changes what a wonderful dog he is.
What defines Knox is his heart, his spirit, and the sheer amount of joy he brings to the people around him. Despite everything he’s endured, he remains affectionate, resilient, silly, and endlessly loving. His foster family thinks he hung the moon, and our veterinary team fell completely in love with him.
We fought hard for Knox because his life mattered. Now, we want to find the family who will love him just as fiercely — crooked leg, goofy gait, silly antics, and all.
