Benny is a very sweet Carolina dog who recently joined us at @crr. If you aren’t familiar with Carolina dogs… definitely look them up, they’re a really, really sweet and wonderful breed of dog.
We don’t have much history in Benny. We know he lived on the streets of south Texas for quite a long time before being trapped and brought in to safety. We were actually trapping another dog and he hopped right in the crate and said “let’s go”! He was done with street life!
He’s been in foster and done incredibly well, and now he’s ready for a permanent home to call his own.
Benny loves to lounge outside and to chase bugs and lizards. He’s happy and context around the house and isn’t a high energy dog at all.
His ideal home is a quiet one where he can rest and relax and enjoy the day. He would love some extra pets and treats, and doesn’t ask for much overall besides companionship and understanding that he’s had a hard life and he’s content to enjoy the simple things: air conditioning, regular meals and someone to love him.
