Nyx

Sweet Nyx is a gorgeous 1.5 year old female Border Collie/Heeler mix. She was found as a stray in an abandoned home, we don’t know how long she was there. She was recently a mama dog and now it is time for her to find her forever spot in the world and receive all the love, safety and security a dog should have.

Nyx is very shy at first, we think she missed out on a lot of human contact and socialization as a puppy, so new things take her a bit to be comfortable with. Once she knows you, she is yours forever, your new bestie for life. She is good with other dogs and also with cats, but people are what make her tick. It may take her a bit to trust you, but once she does, she will be your shadow and best friend forever.

Nyx would do well in a variety of homes, especially one that is relaxed and easy-going, allowing her the space she needs to learn and the patience to let her blossom into the wonderful dog she has proven to be in foster. Nyx is all love, all day and would be a wonderful addition to any home. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in a home with kids 12+.
